What is the difference between food defense and food fraud?

Food defense action is usually deliberately carried out because of jealousy and revenge that have the intention to cause harm while food fraud is intentionally done to increase profit margin with or without intention to cause harm. This is what we define that food fraud may be overlapping with food defense when the food fraud actions may cause harm in form of economic (business owner) or health (consumers).

Then we need to know its importance so that we can understand why it had been emphasize in Food Safety Management System.
